GIVING BACK

HEALTHY FAMILIES, HEALTHY COMMUNITIES

Giving Back

We support initiatives that improve healthcare, help vulnerable children and alleviate poverty. Here are a few highlights.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto

We’re proud to help create a home away from home for families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment in Toronto hospitals. We sponsor a suite at Ronald McDonald House Toronto and keep the communal freezer well-stocked with easy-to-prepare high-quality meals for 81 families.

Healthcare capital campaigns

We generously support capital campaigns to purchase much-needed equipment for hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Recent beneficiaries include the Princess Margaret Cancer FoundationSick Kids FoundationSunnybrook Hospital FoundationToronto General Hospital Foundation and Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation.

North Perth Community of Character

We proudly support the work of the North Perth Community of Character in educating people in the community about those living with disabilities.  They continue to bring awareness to barriers in the community and work to develop solutions that allow all residents to be engaged citizens.

Listowel Legionnaires Baseball

We are pleased to be one of the local sponsors of Listowel Legionnaires Baseball. Since the 1940’s, baseball has united the community.  Throughout the summer, the Senior and Junior baseball teams take to the field at the John Bell South ballpark providing free entertainment.

Listowel Kinsmen Paddyfest

We are pleased to support the fundraising and community building efforts of the Listowel Kinsmen through their annual Paddyfest events and activities.  Paddyfest is going 40 years strong thanks to the tireless work of the volunteers who donate their time each year.

COVID Community Support

Working with the following organizations, we are proud to do our part in providing meals to Canadians in need:  Ve’ahavta, The Stop, The Lunch Lady, Women4us.

Artists for Peace and Justice

We recently supported the efforts of Artists for Peace and Justice, a global non-profit that uses the arts to help improve educational opportunities and access to healthcare for Haiti’s children. More than half of Haitians live on less than $2 a day, and there are more artists per capita in Haiti than any other nation. All programs are designed, implemented and managed by Haitians.

Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre

We’re helping Toronto’s children grow up in safe, healthy and nurturing environments by supporting Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. Boost CYAC brings all the professionals involved in child abuse cases together under one roof to collaborate and protect children. It is a centre of excellence for services, research, training and education.
